I’ve always appreciated clever costumes – the punnier the better even. I also really appreciate a homemade costume. Getting some polyester store-bought thing, no matter how good it looks, just isn’t the same. When Jeff didn’t want to get encumbered by a couple’s costume, I went in my own direction:
We were quite the social butterflies this weekend: two Halloween parties (and would’ve gone to another if I didn’t have a 7:30am study group and 10:00am hospital training session on Sunday morning…). First to a house party in our neighborhood:

It was so much fun to dress up with everyone! As Halloween falls in the middle of a busy midterms week I doubt we’ll be doing anything on the actual day.
