In which there’s lots of co-ressie love

The best part about my program is hands down the other residents! This weekend Kat and I decided to show some co-resident love by making scrub caps for everyone. She’s a genius with a sewing machine and made our patterns from an old ugly scrub cap she ordered off line. We cut out most of the pieces last weekend and finished up sewing them today.

Boys’ hats. They’re of super fancy fabric that kind of reminds me of ties. I think they’d be something a hot shot plastic surgeon would wear – business formal, but scrubing in usable.

Girls’ caps in fun, bright fabrics. Plenty of room to scrunch our hair underneath.

A shout out to our co-resident Janice who is right now on her way to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro! I’m so excited for her and can’t wait to get some pointers because it’s definitely on my bucket list. Josiah and I even have a pinkie promise on it!

Good luck Janice! We’re cheering you on!

Laminated page I made with all our encouraging messages to keep her going up that big ol' mountian!
